A mother visiting Tris at home today ended up with her toddler locked inside her car, todder strapped in to car seat and keys at toddler's fee. Bad situation ... cars heat up so quickly in the Australian sun; dehydration and death happens quickly. A call to the RACV had them here in ten minutes and car unlocked. Ten minutes! Well done RACV. They drop everything in such cases, and they don't charge non-RACV members (although the mother concerned and us are both RACV members anyway). Of course, a brick was the backup, but great work RACV.
