Journal Week 7-10

I'm going to cheat, and condense a few weeks into one page.

I felt like I was saying the same things every week ... which indicates that I'm in a routine ... which is a good thing.

I have learnt so much in the first eight weeks of this effort, while still losing weight and improving my fitness. I'm actually foucssing now on my next 12 week cycle. By week 10 I'm still not satisifed with the weight training -- I mean, I'm not satisfied with the program I've been following. I will finish it off, but plan my own one for the next 12 weeks. I will probably drop down to three sets per exercise, plus a warmup set -- that's dropping one set per exercise. I'm going to follow the "hardgainer" approach (do a search for the "hardgainer" FAQ on the internet, or look here ). I'm waiting on what is widely reputed to be the best book on this program to get to me (you may like to look at http://www.hardgainer.com.).
